Mathtastic Summer Camp at Growing IQ

Join us at Growing IQ this summer for an engaging and educational experience! Students will discover a variety of themed activities that apply real-world math concepts, designed to suit their individual abilities and learning styles. Through hands-on exploration and problem-solving, participants will enhance their math skills and critical thinking in a fun, supportive environment.

Week 1: July 2-6 (Tuesday to Saturday)

Week 2: July 8-12 (Monday to Friday)

Week 3: July 15-19 (Monday to Friday)

Week 4: July 22-26 (Monday to Friday)

Week 5: July 29-August 2 (Monday to Friday)

Summer Explorers

Dates:Weeks 1- 5

Are your little ones ready to start discovering math? Let them explore math concepts through fun and interactive games, storytelling, movement, and songs! Develop their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

2.5 - 3.5 Years

Session 1: 9:00 - 10:00am

Session 2: 3:30 - 4:30pm

Sunshine Adventurers

Dates: Weeks 1- 5

Does your child love dancing, singing, and crafting? Do they show a fascination with numbers? Join us this summer to expose your child to foundational math concepts using elements of music and motion.

3.5 - 4.5 Years

Times:

Session 1: 10:30am - 12:00pm

Session 2: 1:30 - 3:00pm

Number Ninjas

Dates: Week 1, Week 3, Week 5

Are numbers your greatest enemy? Does math have you hiding in the shadows? Let us help you defeat the math monsters using hands-on tools and teamwork to master your way through addition, subtraction, place-value, patterns, and more! Number Ninjas builds a foundation for K3 to Primary 1 students to explore numbers and operations, while training to become a ninja!

4.5 - 6 Years

Two sessions available for each week offered:

Data Detectives

Dates: Week 2 and Week 4

Can you manipulate data and solve the mathematical mystery? Join us in unlocking the secrets hidden in the data. Learn how to turn data into visual representations through collection, sorting, classification, and interpretation in this weeklong camp open to incoming Primary 2 and Primary 3 students.

6 - 8 Years

Geometry Treehouse

Dates: Week 2 and Week 5

Growing IQ brings you a project-based class for students entering Primary 4 to Primary 5 that allows students to apply their natural tendencies to the learning process. In this camp, students will explore the math involved in designing a treehouse by learning about the area of two- and three-dimensional shapes, surface area, ratios, scales, fractions, and more!

8 - 10 Years

Money Matters

Dates: Week 1 and Week 4

What does it take to start your own business? How do you budget, and how do you calculate the rate of return on your investment? Growing IQ brings you a real-life problem-solving class where students will start their own mock-business, make decisions such as capital investments, business locations, staffing, pricing, and other variables. Combing math and business decisions will make students think about how they allocate resources!

8 - 10 Years
